2. Server log files

This website consists exclusively of static pages and is delivered by our processor Netlify. Each time a page is retrieved, Netlify processes the technically necessary connection data in log files. As a rule these are:

• IP address of the requesting device,
• date and time of the request,
• name and path of the retrieved file,
• amount of data transferred and HTTP status code,
• referrer URL, insofar as transmitted by the browser,
• browser type, browser version and operating system (user agent).

This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the pages at all, and at the same time serves the stability and security of the service, in particular the prevention of attacks and overload. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the reliable and secure provision of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is not evaluated for marketing purposes. The logs are retained by Netlify only for a short time and are then deleted automatically; the details follow from the data processing agreement concluded with Netlify pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

The processor is Netlify, Inc. or its European contracting party. Insofar as personal data is thereby transferred to the USA, we base the transfer on the adequacy decision of the European Commission regarding the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

3. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics

This website sets no cookies, does not store or read any other information on your terminal device and integrates no external resources, no third-party fonts, no CDN scripts, no embedded videos, no social media buttons. No reach measurement and no tracking takes place, neither by us nor by third parties.

Since no information within the meaning of § 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) is stored on or read from your terminal device, no consent is required. We therefore deliberately do not display a cookie or consent banner.

4. No forms

On this website there is no contact form, no sign-up, no newsletter and no other input facility. You cannot enter any personal data here.

5. Contacting us by email

If you write to us by email, we process your email address, your name insofar as provided, and the content of your message in order to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete the correspondence as soon as the matter has been concluded and no statutory retention periods stand in the way.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
